Hip Hop Instructor
Born and raised in the island of Oahu Hawai’i and first started dancing at the age of 4. She has trained in Hula, Tahitian, and Hiphop. She has danced with Pas De Deux Hawaii since it’s grand opening in 2010 and was a mentor and class leader for Hiphop. In 2017, She joined HipHop Senior Company and have done competitions at Jump, Spotlight, and The Dance Awards 2017 and 2019, and World of Dance Hawaii in 2020. She is now teaching dance in the Hiphop department and also helps out with the Polynesian department.
Aside from dance, Miqy expresses another form of art through drawing and painting. Once becoming a dance instructor, Miqy has gained a new love for art as dance is a performing art form that transmits culture, emotions, and stories. Her goal as a dance instructor is to help her students reach their dance goals while having fun at the same time. She is grateful to still be apart of Pas De Deux Hawaii and for the opportunity to share her love of dance with her students
