The Bactista Family

Aloha! We are the Bactista Family - Cheston, Sheryl, Brennen, Breanna, Breylyn, Breslen, Brexton, and Rocky (our 14 yo Jack Russell). We enjoy spending time as a family watching Netflix, cooking, baking, and eating. We recently started to safely venture back out of the house going to the beach and fishing. Cheston is owner of Roof Restoration Hawaii. Most recently he opened two new entities, Premier Home Consultants and Construction Professionals Hawaii. Sheryl is an RN Service Coordinator with Ohana Health Plan. Brennen is proudly serving his 4th year in the Air Force and is stationed in Oklahoma. Breanna is a senior at Chaminade University majoring in Business and plays on CU's Women's Soccer Team. Breylyn is a sophomore at Mililani High School and is a member of Hawaii Rush Soccer Academy and has also played on MHS JV Soccer Team. Breslen is our little dancer and is a 6th grader at Mililani Middle School. Brexton is a 1st grader at Mililani Mauka Elementary School and is enjoying being a kid.

We started our dance journey with PDD when Wendy and Jeremy opened their first studio in Waipahu by the sugar mill. We enrolled Breylyn when she was 5.  She took ballet and jazz for about 7 years. Breslen was too young to start dance class at that time, but remember her peeping through the one glass door at PDD. She would intensely watch Breylyn in dance class, hoping to one day be dancing just like her big sis. Once she turned 3, we enrolled her in creative movement and she never looked back! She recently completed her 2nd season with mini company ballet, jazz, and contemporary and also jumped at the opportunity to do her first jazz solo. She is currently in her 3rd season with junior company.

Thank you Wendy and Jeremy along with all of the teachers, administrative staff, and volunteers for providing a friendly, loving, nurturing, fun, safe, and healthy environment for our keiki especially during this time of uncertainty. It is at PDD that Breslen has and will continue to create long lasting friendships and is where she will continue to grow to become a confident, well rounded young lady. We can confidently say to new families that there is no doubt that PDD treats all dancers as their own children. So if you have any questions or concerns or want your child to try something new, don't hesitate to ask. PDD will always have the best interest of your child in mind.
