The Klein Family

Hey everyone we are the Klein family; Mark, Jessica, Ella, Aryana, Jag (our gentle giant pitbull), and Lohi (our overprotective chihuahua). We are a family that loves to learn, try new things (especially foods), and grow. Finding a way to have an adventure in the new and the old. On our days off together we split our time between games (Uno, Trouble, Guess Who, Battleship), freestyle dance parties, surfing & tanning, and then winding down with snuggles and a movie while snacking on popcorn. On vacations we are the family that loves to sleep in, and then pack the rest of our day with as much fun as possible.

As most of you already know, Jessica (mom), has the privilege of teaching Hip Hop, Voice and directing the Musical Theatre program at Pas De Deux. Last year, Mark (dad), left a career in the hospitality industry to be able to spend more time with and support the girls' love for the performing arts. He now works part-time for both Apple and Pearlside Church alongside Jessica. We are so grateful for Nana and Papi (Jessica's parents) for their daily involvement in all things PDD, so that our girls can get to class when mom and dad are at work.

We are so proud of our fearless and silly daughters Ella (12) and Aryana (8). Both girls have followed in mommy's footsteps with their love for the performing arts. Ella started in the Musical Theatre program at PDD 5 years ago and then quickly dived into every genre available to her. If there was enough time in the day she would continue in all genres, but for now she is having a blast being a part of PDD's Ballet, Jazz, Tap, & Hip Hop Company. Aryana started in Creative movement and Hip Hop Tots as soon as she was able to. She was finally old enough to be in her first musical (Frozen JR) this year. She's over the moon to join the Petite Jazz & Ballet companies this month.

We appreciate PDD dearly for being the avenue in which our beautiful girls can train in the performing arts. Our advice to new families: 1) Don’t compare yourself to anyone else because your journey is unique to you and beautiful. 2) Keep working hard, being teachable, and persevering through all obstacles and you will achieve every goal you set for yourself. You got this!
