The Nakamoto Family
The Nakamoto family has been with Pas De Deux Hawai’i since they were at their first location in Waipahu 13 years ago. Maya started taking creative movement at 3 years old and Mari started two years later when she was 3. Fast forward until now ~ both girls are on the Teen Prep Team, Maya is a junior at Hawaii Tech Academy and is doing Ballet and Jazz and Mari is a freshman at Hawaii Tech Academy doing Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Tap (swing). Kyle (dad) and Kathy (mom) love PDD because of the quality training their daughters receive and the wonderful teachers they’ve had over the years.
They are so proud to see how the studio has grown to what it is today. The Nakamoto family wishes to thank Wendy, Jeremy, all the teachers and staff for all they do to give these dancers the best opportunities! They are grateful to see their children grow with such confidence and strong influences in their lives.
Their advice to new families is to check out some of the competitions to see the level of dance that is displayed. Dance is a whole new world to many, and it is very impressive to see what these dancers are capable of!
